Our mission is to increase the accessibility of Dramatherapy, directed and driven by the assured belief that it enriches and positively transforms people’s lives

WHAT WE DO

The BADth Charity funds non-profit-making organisations to bring in much needed Dramatherapy services for the benefit of the public, and to provide funding for Dramatherapy research.

WHERE DO DRAMATHERAPISTS WORK?

Dramatherapists work in a wide variety of settings: Schools and special schools, health and social care provision, mental health organisations, prisons, community centres, hospices, refuges, and for adoption services.

WHAT IS DRAMATHERAPY?

Dramatherapists provide therapy for some of the most vulnerable members of society of every age, for example, people experiencing: depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem, loss and grief, addictions, relationship problems, dementia,  eating disorders, the consequences of abuse and trauma, and mental ill health issues, learning difficulties and problems associated with the autistic spectrum.
